Instructions:

Lay the T-shirt on a flat surface. (You may want to protect the surface from paint using newspaper, plastic bags, or an old plastic shower curtain.)

Insert the cardboard or wax paper and cutting board inside the T-shirt, ensuring full coverage underneath the area to be painted.

Coat your first stamp (or roller or finger, etc) with paint, and apply to the shirt.

To ensure a clear image using a stamp, make sure the stamp is well coated with paint, but not so thickly that it blobs around the edges, and press it down gently on the shirt, without rocking the stamp. Carefully lift the stamp straight off the shirt.

Paintbrushes and tube/pen fabric paints can be used to add finer details, do touch-ups, and create outlines and 3D effects.

Once the design is finished, leave the shirt lying flat until it dries completely. Required drying times will be noted on the paint and textile medium packages.

To help the design last for as long as possible, always wash the T-shirt in cold water, with the T-shirt turned inside out, so that the design is on the inside of the shirt. Air dry, or if you use the dryer, use the no-heat (or lowest heat) setting.
